[BCMA] Registration now open for "Managing Archival Photographs" distance education course!

Do you have photographs in your holdings but you are unsure of what to do
with them?

Registration is now open for the AABC's popular distance education course
"Managing Archival Photographs". Over 10 weeks, students will learn
about photographic
history, technology and processes and how to apply archival theories
of appraisal,
accessioning, arrangement and description to this unique format. Practical
topics of preservation, reference, copyright, public outreach, and digitization
will also be addressed.

Registration is open from October 3 - December 1, 2016.

Course duration is January 9 - March 20, 2017.

The cost for the course is $350.00 (CAD) for AABC members and $500.00 (CAD)
for non-members. Students will be able to order the course textbook at a
discounted rate once they have registered.
