Summer Curatorial Assistant

 

Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin is seeking a student to complete a
curatorial project and assist with the operations of the museum.

 

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in and returning to full-time post-secondary studies; 

Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or refugee status in Canada between 15
and 30 years old;

Preference will be given to a student enrolled in a relevant field.

 

Skill Requirements:

Interest in learning local history;

Efficient computer skills including Access database;

Excellent research, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;

Knowledge of photography and its equipment;

Flexible, resourceful, able to work independently within workplace
guidelines.

 

Term: Seasonal full-time, for up to 16 weeks between May 9 and August 26,
2017.


Wage: $14.00/hour.
