*Two Rivers Gallery in Prince George is seeking students for the following
summer positions:*



*BMO KidzArt Dayz Coordinator*

*Two Rivers Gallery is seeking a University or College student to* fill the
summer position of BMO KidzArt Dayz Coordinator. The successful candidate
will join Two Rivers Gallery’s Programming team, reporting to the Director
of Public Programs. The BMO KidzArt Dayz Coordinator will manage the 27th
annual KidzArt Dayz, 2 days of free family art activities, attracting
10,000 people.  This student will organize every aspect of the event,
designing the activities, assisting with promotions, recruiting and
training volunteers, etc.  During the second half of the placement, this
student will also take on the responsibilities of children’s programming,
working with our Regional Programming Coordinators and Creativity Camp
Coordinator facilitating the Summer Art Club for children ages 5-10 and the
full day Creativity Camps for 6-13 year olds and teens.



*The preferred candidate should:*

*·        **be creative, innovative and adaptable*

*·        **be studying in the field of fine arts, education or another
related field*

*·        **have experience working with school-aged children*

*·        **have a love of art*

*·        **work well in a team*

*·        **show initiative, interest and effort*

*·        **be fluent in English, with exceptional written and oral
communication skills*

*·        **have strong computer and research skills*

*·        **must be between 16 and 30 years of age*

*·        **must be a full time student this semester*

*·        **must intend to return to full-time studies in the fall of 2017*



*This position is full time, 37.5 hour week, for 18 weeks from May 3 -
September 1, 2017. The rate of pay is $14.33/hour.*


*Creativity Camp Coordinator*

*Two Rivers Gallery is seeking a motivated University or College student to
design and facilitate exciting and innovative full day art camps *for
school aged children and teens. *Reporting to the *Director of Public
Programs*, the Creativity Camp Coordinator* will manage, design and
facilitate full day camps for children, ages 6-13 and one week for teens,
through the Creativity Camps. The themed camps offer families full day
childcare with an emphases on encouraging creativity through exploration
into art and making.



*The preferred candidate should:*

*·        **be creative, innovative and adaptable*

*·        **be studying in the field of fine arts, education or another
related field*

*·        **have experience working with school-aged children*

*·        **have a love of art*

*·        **work well in a team*

*·        **show initiative, interest and effort*

*·        **be fluent in English, with exceptional written and oral
communication skills*

*·        **have strong computer and research skills*

*·        **must be between 16 and 30 years of age*

*·        **must be a full time student this semester*

*·        **must intend to return to full-time studies in the fall of 2017*

*Regional Programming Coordinator*

*Two Rivers Gallery is seeking a University or College student to design
and facilitate educational art programs for children and families.
Reporting to the *Director of Public Programs*, this student will travel to
rural schools in the Fraser-Fort George Regional District, offering
educational activities in the schools, at outreach events and exciting art
programming through the Summer Art Club and Creativity Camps at Two Rivers
Gallery.*



*The preferred candidate should:*

*·        **be creative, innovative and adaptable*

*·        **be studying in the field of fine arts, education or another
related field*

*·        **have experience working with school-aged children*

*·        **have a love of art*

*·        **work well in a team*

*·        **show initiative, interest and effort*

*·        **be fluent in English, with exceptional written and oral
communication skills*

*·        **have strong computer and research skills*

*·        **must be between 16 and 30 years of age*

*·        **must be a full time student this semester*

*·        **must intend to return to full-time studies in the fall of 2017*

*·        **must have a valid drivers licence*



*This position is full time, 37.5 hour week, for 18 weeks from May 3 -
September 1, 2017. The rate of pay is $14.33/hour.*
