This is a great opportunity for young people interested in tourism, and it
would be wonderful to see people from BC's arts, culture and heritage
sector represented in the participants. Please note that the deadline is

a career in tourism.
Does this describe you? Apply now to join The Honourable Bardish Chagger,
Canada's Minister of Small Business and Tourism, in Ottawa from August 13
to 15, 2017, for two days of learning about entrepreneurship in the
tourism sector.
This is your opportunity to learn from some of Canada's most creative
tourism movers and shakers.
Are you:
- 18–24 years old?
- interested in tourism and entrepreneurship?
- thinking about starting a tourism business?
- passionate about travel, especially within Canada?
- interested in sharing input on how to make tourism experiences great
for millennials?
- There are only 50 spots available, so don't wait!
As a participant you will:
- meet tourism operators and youth from across Canada;
- mingle with representatives from the top five tourism-related service
sectors – accommodations, food and beverage, recreation and entertainment,
transportation, and travel services;
- find out how entrepreneurs are promoting their business ventures and
experiences; and
- learn more about entrepreneurial opportunities in tourism.
