[BCMA] Request for Conference Host Community Proposals: 2018, 2019, and 2020

Hello,

The BCMA is excited to launch the Request for Proposals process to find our
next three conference host communities!  We are now actively seeking
proposals from museums and communities for conference locations for 2018,
2019, and 2020.

Each October the BC Museums Association holds a nationally-recognized
provincial conference in a British Columbia community, creating an
opportunity for members and future members to gather and discuss issues of
relevance to the museum, gallery, archive, heritage and related sectors.
Annual attendance is approximately 150 (and growing)!

The BCMA strongly encourages members to work closely with local hotels,
conference centres, and other partners to develop strong host community
proposals.

The deadline for submitting proposals is *Friday, August 11, 2017.*

We currently alternate conference locations between the Lower Mainland and
Vancouver Island but are open to proposals from other areas if the
partnership opportunities are strong.
