** A Successful Start to the Season
------------------------------------------------------------

Opening day was a great success, despite the stormy conditions just days before. Families came out to enjoy an afternoon of sunshine and explored all the Ranch has to offer, from Mansion tours to pony rides. We welcome our summer student interpreters Taylor Robillard and Carmen Winther, they are a great addition to an already fantastic team contributing to your Ranch experience. Be sure to purchase your Seasons Pass early and take advantage of all our regular programming with no additional charge. We would like to say thank you to Nixon Wenger Lawyers LLP (http://okeeferanch.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f9abbe84adeaefd86c157e916&id=79f12c2cd1&e=1e053e65a6) for sponsoring kids admission on our opening day, as part of Unplug and Play week in Vernon. Kids proved that it doesn't take electronics to have fun!

** Join us on Mother's Day
------------------------------------------------------------

Mom deserves only the best! From 10am – 3pm on Sunday, May 14, mothers are invited to attend a tea tasting sponsored by Teassential, a locally owned specialty tea store in Vernon. Enjoy samples of a black tea and fruit blend as well as baked goods served on Royal Dolton china. Guests can stroll through a small artisan vendor market to find a perfect token for Mom. Local talent Shaugnessy Rose will perform live music from 11am – 1pm. For this one day only, a display of vintage dresses, hats and handbags from our collection will be on display in the Greenhow Museum. Also onsite on Mother’s Day will be blacksmithing, draft horses, quilting, and leather working demonstrations. Mansion tours, stagecoach rides, tractor wagon rides, and pony rides will also be available for the whole family. And, Moms will take home a gifted pansy donated by Swanlake Nurseryland. ** 4^th Annual Black Tie and Blue Jeans Gala

Tickets are selling fast! Join us in our biggest fundraising event of the season. Along with engaging entertainment, live music, wagon rides and stagecoach rides, Mansion tours, and photo booth, guests will enjoy a fabulous dinner and live auction with Donald Raffin. Emcee: Jason Armstrong. Monies raised at this event will support the Greenhow Museum renovation project. Tickets are $75 each. Elvis will be in the house...
