[BCMA] BC Gazettes

The Quesnel & District Museum and Archives has an extensive run of BC Gazettes   (1936 - 1973).  To the best of my knowledge they have not been accessed by researchers in the past decade. I am aware that UVic has digitized the earliest issues (1863-1871) and the most recent issues (2001- 2017) are available online through bclaws.ca   We are just wondering how many institutions are archiving  the mid twentieth century issues.  We do not believe that we are the most appropriate institution to be archiving (or digitizing these) and would be happy to contribute issues to a more central repository.

We would appreciate hearing from other institutions who have the BC Gazette to help us make an informed decision as we undertake our collections review.  Please reply directly to ehunter at quesnel.ca<mailto:ehunter at quesnel.ca>
