[BCMA] Job Posting: Information Systems Analyst - $50, 857 to $57, 781 salary

The Royal British Columbia Museum seeks a highly motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Digital Manager, the Information Systems Analyst will coordinate development and maintenance of Royal BC Museum's collection management systems: museum, archives, genealogy and digital assets.

Along with formal education in computer sciences, museum studies or library sciences you possess strong skills as a data analyst for large complex systems. You have database administration experience and are comfortable querying large datasets using SQL for the purpose of identifying patterns of data corruption, performing bulk updates, or writing custom reports. Ideally you will have work experience directly related to museum and archive collections, with knowledge of associated data standards and schemas.  In addition to a data analyst skillset, you have proven experience managing complex projects along with developing procedures and standards.
