BC Alliance presents two essential workshops focusing on healthy work relationships

November 8 and 15 • 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

A great day at work begins with a well managed team. This pair of workshops focusing on human resources issues in the arts, culture and heritage sectors deals with ways to foster positive workplace relationships and best practices for conflict resolution.

In Managing Workplace Issues (November 8), participants will deal with ways to use progressive discipline; effectively manage issues such as absenteeism and harassment; and smart ways to ensure your workers’ performances are well managed. 

The second workshop, Managing Workplace Conflict (November 15) covers such issues as situations that lead to conflict; the communicative, Pinch model of conflict resolution; tools to manage conflict; and techniques for personal anger management.

The facilitator is Greg Miller, president of Crowflight Consulting. Miller holds a Master’s of Applied Behavioural Science in Organizational Development and his Executive Coaching Certificate.  He has delivered numerous courses on supervisor development, time management, stress management, networking, and managing change.
