For adoption by another museum

The Atchelitz Threshermen’s Association museum in Chilliwack has a Type 55 Automatic electric telephone switchboard for donation to another museum. Often referred to as a PBX (Private Branch Exchange). Located in small hotels, motels, department stores or manufacturing plants. This type did not provide dial service, other than to the person operating it. Mechanism appears to be complete, except for wood sheathing.
