Mini Artists is Next Monday, Sept. 25th at 10 a.m!

Join us for a quick tour of Destanne Norris’ exhibition Stellar, where we will talk about all things outer space! We will then get our hands busy by experimenting and playing with puffy paint to create our own vast galaxies. Mini Artists is children ages 5 and under and admission is by donation, parents or guardians must attend as well.

Culture Days at VPAG - Family Saturday is FREE This Month!
Family Saturday On Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 1 p.m.

This month Sheldon Louis in a guest instructor for Family Saturday! Enjoy a tour of Ancestors of the Columbia and learn about the Old Stories that inspired this exhibition. Then we will paint bold acrylic paintings inspired by nature and water in Sheldon’s signature style! This month Family Saturday is FREE to attend as it is a part of the annual Culture Days weekend. Please pre-register as space is limited.

Bold Salmon Painting Inspired by Ancestors of the Columbia

Join us for a tour of Sheldon Louis’ exhibiti on Ancestors of the Columbia where we will discuss the historical story that inspired the works in the exhibit. Inspired by his bright, bold, and graphic paintings, we will head to the classroom to paint our own Salmon paintings using acrylic paint. Discuss and Create is for adults of all ages and admission in by donation.
