North Vancouver Museum and Archives uses Past Perfect for the artifact collection and Eloquent's WebGenCat for the archives. Eloquent was recently acquired by Lucidea.

Heritage Park in Terrace has recently started using ArchivesSpace. Does anyone have any experience with this? I would love to chat.

Richmond Museums and Heritage Services uses Argus.net for its artefact collection.

The database is user friendly, is adaptable to each Museum’s needs, has the capacity to store photograph and video and audio files.

Lucidea, the company who created the database is local and responsive to questions through their help desk and representatives.

Catalogue Database.

I would like to make a survey of cataloging databases in use in BC museums and archives. Please send me the brand of database, and whether you use it for artifacts or archival records, or both. A brief opinion would also be helpful. I will collate the information and post it on the BCMA list serve when it is complete.
