*Creative City Strategy – Host Your Own Engagement 2018 Grants*

*Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI)*



The City of Vancouver is developing a Creative City Strategy – a new,
comprehensive plan for arts, culture and creativity that will guide future
priorities, efforts and investments. Community-led input is critical to the
wider public engagement process that will inform the Creative City
Strategy.



Grants ranging from $5,000 - $20,000 are available for organizations to
host and facilitate their own conversations on arts and culture. Host Your
Own engagements can take place from May through September 2018.



*Call for Expression of Interest (EOI)*

Organizations are to submit an Expression of Interest as part of the grant
process by Tuesday, April 24, 2018. A sub-committee will review the EOIs
and shortlist applicants will be contacted to submit a full proposal.

We encourage EOIs from organizations who will engage people in ways that
reflect the culture and history of the city, address emerging challenges
and opportunities, broaden consultation with underrepresented voices and
groups, and strengthen relationships and knowledge networks across
artistic, cultural and creative communities.

*Host Your Own Information Session *

The Creative City Strategy team will hold a free information session to go
over the Expression of Interest and answer any questions regarding the
opportunity.
