[BCMA] Mystery cabinet

Hello Tammy,

                From my experience this would be used for coal/wood/peat storage near a fireplace but certainly could be used for ash I guess. It keeps the fuel out of sight. J. R. Teale & Son were cabinet/furniture makers and upholsterers in Leeds. A local resident has just contacted me looking for information on a cabinet she describes as an “antique ash bucket cabinet.” I’ve included a photo of the cabinet and the manufacturer’s label below. If anyone can give me any information to pass on, I’m sure she would appreciate it!
