[BCMA] BC Historical Federation Conference in Nakusp

Did you know that the Arrow Lakes Historical Society — operators of the Nakusp Museum — formed in 1984? You will learn more about the Arrow Lakes, their historical society, and BC history at the 2018 BC Historical Federation conference being held May 24-27 in Nakusp.

Registration for the annual conference is now open until May 10th. You do not need to be a member of the BCHF to attend - all are welcome!

At conference, you can discover historic places and museums in Nakusp, Sandon and New Denver. You relax in the area’s natural hot springs, and enjoy presentations on a variety of historical topics. The conference caps off with an awards night gala where the Lieutenant Governor's BC Book Prize is awarded.

The BCHF annual conference is a great way for people working, writing, researching, or volunteering in the history, culture and heritage fields to connect, share and promote BC's history.
