and Archives will begin the 6th Annual Speaker Series tomorrow night at
7pm. These 1.5-hour-long engagements will be held at museum every other
Wednesday from May 2 – June 27 and will reveal infamous stories about
Vancouver’s dark past as told by famed authors, historians and experts.
>From tales about Joe Celona, a notorious gangster who controlled the East
Side’s brothels and underground gambling dens, to stories about bold biker
gangs and their insular Vancouver neighbourhoods, these thrilling capers

*About the museum:The Vancouver Police Museum & Archives is an independent
museum run by the Vancouver Police Historical Society, a registered
charity. The Museum’s foundations began in celebration of the Vancouver
Police Department’s centennial anniversary in 1986 and have since expanded
beyond the blue lens of local law enforcement to include the history of the
Vancouver Coroner’s Services and the historic City Analyst Laboratory that
