Hi everyone,
We recently had our local community radio station approach us with a
proposal for a joint programming project. They would provide the
funds/expertise to digitize our collection of oral history cassettes and in
return, we would work with them on a community history program where
selected segments could be played on air. We would still maintain copyright
and ownership of the oral history materials.
I know we would have to review the release signed when the recordings were
made/donated as well as the contents of the tapes for privacy concerns.
Has anyone ever encountered a similar situation? Any advice on how or if to
proceed?
Any insight or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Alyssa
