*Registration is now open for winter workshops at the Caetani Cultural
Centre.*



*We’ve got poetry, drama, memoir writing, griefwork, women’s writing
circles and DIY marketing workshops available for anyone wanting the spark
of growth, insight combined with creative community and playful fun.*



Beloved writer and writing teacher John Lent is offering an 8-session
Masterclass in Poetry, which includes one-on-one time with him on Tuesday
evenings, starting January 22nd.



Vivacious Vernonite Amelia Sirianni has two youth drama programs available,
one for kids age 7-11 and the other for teens aged 12-16, beginning January
7th and 10th, as well as spring break drama camp for youth aged 10 and up.



Transformational memoir-writing teacher and healing arts practitioner
Janelle Hardy is offering a variety of writing courses, including a
10-session Introduction to Memoir Writing, a 6-session Writing Through
Grief course, and an 8-session Wild Woman Writing Circle.



A Do-It-Yourself Marketing workshop, for creatives and self-employed folks,
will also be run Monday evening, January 7th.  If you’re a writer, artist
or healing arts professional, and you’re bootstrapping your promotional
work (website, social media, marketing plan, etc) this workshop will save
you so much time and money.



John Lent is a professional writer, editor and singer/songwriter. A former
professor at Okanagan College, he’s mentored many emerging writers, and has
published 10 books of poetry, short fiction and novels.



Originally from Vernon, Amilia Sirianni spent over a decade working as a
professional actor in Toronto, as well as on stages across North America in
film and television. Having moved back to Vernon with her husband and son,
she’s delighted to be part of the thriving arts community, teaching drama
to people all ages.



Janelle Hardy, a newcomer to Vernon, grew up in the Yukon and weaves her
background in the creative arts (writing, painting and dance) as well as
her 12+ year background in the healing arts (Hellerwork Structural
Integration and experience as a self-employed creative to offer a variety
of soulful, transformational writing courses, coupled with the
nuts-and-bolts practicalities of DIY Marketing.
