Colleagues,
Registration is now open for the AABC's most popular distance education
course - "Introduction to Archival Practice".
Using Laura Millar's award-winning publication *Archives: Principles and
Practices*, students will be introduced to archival terminology, theory,
different types of archival institutions, how archival records are treated,
copyright, privacy, ethics and preserving electronic records.
This course will benefit those working in libraries, museums, records
management, local government, administration, art galleries, federal,
provincial, state or local government departments or non-profit
institutions. You do not have to work in an archives to take this course.
*Registration:* February 1 - March 9, 2018
*Course duration:* April 9 - June 18, 2018
Cost: AABC member $350 (CAD) / Non-member $500 (CAD); plus the cost of
course textbook
