[BCMA] Registration Reminder (July 20 deadline) AABC Oral History distance ed course

Colleagues,

A reminder that registration is now OPEN for the AABC's specialized
distance education course "Oral History: From Theory to Practice"*. *Over
seven modules, students will be introduced to the theory and practice of
conducting a successful oral history program. Using two recently revised
publications: *Curating Oral Histories* and *The Oral History Reader, *students
will learn about the administrative process related to the interview
process, conducting interviews, description and transcription best
practices, technology and preservation. Practical examples using case
studies will reinforce learning outcomes.

*Please note that registration CLOSES *July 20, 2018

*Course duration: *September 10 - November 19, 2018

*Cost:* AABC members $350.00 (CAD) / Non-member $500.00 (CAD); plus the
cost of the 2 course textbooks

*Limit: *20 students
