[BCMA] Contract Curatorial Researcher position (part-time)

North Vancouver's Museum & Archives announces a part-time contract position for a Curatorial Researcher. Working with NVMA's Curator, other staff and an Indigenous Voices Advisory Committee, the Contractor will independently undertake research for an exhibition exploring the cultural significance, history and geography of the distinctive twin mountain peaks that provide a scenic backdrop to Vancouver and the North Shore. Known as "The Sisters" by Coast Salish people, and named "The Lions" by settlers, they will be the focus of the first temporary exhibition in North Vancouver's new museum (opening early 2020): "The Lions/The Sisters: Mountains, Myth, Muse."

Qualified contractors are encouraged to apply by August 1, 2018. The contract period runs from October 2018 through July 2019.
