Here is a wonderful opportunity for all of you in the lower mainland
wanting to find a full-time, permanent career in a museum and live in a
friendly and affordable city!
Two Rivers Gallery, in Prince George, BC is hiring a MakerLab Coordinator.
MakerLab 2RG is an award-winning Maker Space situated in a contemporary art
gallery. MakerLab is a collaborative, community space that offers tools,
courses and mentorship with the goal of fostering creativity and growing
the maker community in Prince George. This is a programming position where
the MakerLab Coordinator will develop and deliver programs to encourage
exploration and creativity through making, learn to use new technologies
including a 3D printer and laser cutter / engraver and be instrumental in
encouraging the Maker culture in Northern BC.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent or soon-to-be grad who is
interested in programming, learning new technologies, community practice
and developing experience in a public gallery.
