please excuse cross postings

Colleagues,

I wanted to send out a warm thank you to those who joined us in person and
for those who watched online during yesterday's webcast. It is great to
know that you are out there following along and sending in thoughtful
comments and questions. It is exciting to be reaching colleagues throughout
Canada and the United States and even across the ocean to the UK!

Our panel of speakers - Jana, Karen, Ember, Shyla and Kristy provided some
great tips and insight into working with audiovisual records and the
challenges they face preserving and making them accessible to the public.
Unfortunately, our roundtable wasn't long enough to cover all the things we
wanted to talk about and answer some more of the questions we received. Our
speakers have graciously agreed to share some of the resources and links
that they have found useful in their work. I will let you know when this
information is ready on the AABC website along with the finalized
roundtable link.

Thank you for supporting the AABC and our education and outreach activities!

Best regards,

Lisa
