Registration is now open for the BCMA's June 19 webinar "Bringing your
Photographs Online: Perspectives from the Haida Gwaii Museum."

This webinar explores how the Haida Gwaii Museum is innovatively making its
archival collections accessible through software linked to its website. In
this webinar, you will learn about the goals and objectives for bringing
the HGM’s archives collection online, the processes needed to set up an
online collection, and how the online collection is structured to give
visitors multiple options for finding and viewing content. The webinar will
also provide a brief history of the museum’s archives collections, ethical
issues, copyright and other considerations in creating an online presence,
and an overview of public feedback about the new platform.
