[BCMA] House of Commons report on Museum in Canada

Hi All,

 

Sitting over lunch I have done a quick read of the new report by the
Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage "Moving Foward -Towards a Stronger
Canadian Museum Sector" , and I must say that if its recommendations were
implemented we would be better off. 

 

I will be doing a session on Advocacy at the BCMA conference in Kelowna and
a key to doing advocacy is knowing what you are asking for. There are no
doubt things in here that should by on our list. I hope that all of you will
think hard about what it is that we in BC need to advocate for. This report
helps, but we need to sharpen our BC advocacy list.
