Potters Guild of BC Holds Province's Largest Ceramic Exhibition

Richmond, BC

 

The Potters Guild of BC (PGBC) is creating the largest exhibition of
BC-based ceramic works in history! Working in partnership with Lipont
Gallery in Richmond, BC, the PGBC is very proud to announce the exhibition
The Best of BC Ceramics. Featuring the work of over 40 BC based ceramic
artists the exhibition will contain over 300 pieces of ceramic art. The Best
of BC Ceramics features the work of living BC based clay artists who are
members of the PGBC. The exhibition will run from August 8th- September 3rd
2019 at Lipont Gallery, with an opening reception on August 8th from 6-9 pm.


 

Established in 1955, the Potters Guild of BC is the province's largest and
oldest association for ceramic artists. The PGBC owned and operated the
Gallery of BC Ceramics on Granville Island from 1986-2018. The Best of BC
Ceramics is the Guild's first group exhibition since the closure of the
Gallery of BC Ceramics.
