[BCMA] Totem pole by Ray Williams?

A question for the collective Listserv brain!

We just had a call at the BCMA office from a gentleman in Alberta whose
father acquired a totem pole in Vancouver in 1962. The family was under the
impression that said totem pole was carved by the Indigenous artist Ray
Williams. It has his name written on the back but the authenticity has not
been proven.

Neil, the caller, is looking for an expert to help answer that question and
advice on possible next steps.

Would anyone know of somebody who could offer their expertise on the matter?

Thank you
Vanessa
