Calling all Curators, Exhibit Designers, Conservators and Researchers!

Fort Langley National Historic Site

2:30-4:00 pm presentation, Q&A, and exhibit tour: Fort Langley Children's Play Area
(1:30 pm - come early for an optional guided site tour)
Free parking, free admission for meeting attendees

Come learn about Fort Langley's newest exhibit -the Children's Play Area-launched last spring. Our visitor experience team will talk about the planning, concept, and design process of the child-centered exhibition. Then you get to visit the Children's Play Area where you can ask questions and explore for yourself. Choose to arrive before the meeting at 1:30 pm and enjoy a guided site tour by one of our interpreters.



About the Lower Mainland Curatorial Group
The meet-ups will be bi-monthly and hosted by various organizations around the Lower Mainland. The Lower Mainland Curatorial Group is for anyone working in the Curatorial field. Each meet-up will look at an exhibit "case study" and offer participants a chance to discuss newly launched exhibits at neighbouring institutions. We all work hard for our exhibits - let's share those lessons learned!
