OUR LIVES THROUGH OUR EYES: NK'MIP CHILDREN'S ART
January 19 - April 14, 2019
Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm
Over 75 works of art created by children and youth who attended the Inkameep Day School during the era of World War II are on display. Under the tutelage of Mr. Anthony Walsh, the school, located on the Osoyoos Indian Band reserve, became nationally and internationally renowned for its students’ production of art and drama based on their Okanagan identity and history.

THE PRICE OF VICTORY
Now - April 27, 2019
Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm
The Price of Victory is our fifth and final installment in our WWI exhibition series. Explore the costs, consequences and legacies of the Great War through artefacts, photographs and the perspective of a fictitious soldier newly returned from the war as he copes with the shock of civilian life after years of service.

GUIDED TOURS: OUR LIVES THROUGH OUR EYES: NK'MIP CHILDREN'S ART
January 26 & February 2,9,16 and 23, 1pm-2:30pm
Tours will begin at the Kelowna Art Gallery. Visitors will then be guided over to the Okanagan Heritage Museum to experience the other half of the exhibition.

LIVING THE SEASONS: THE SYILX (OKANAGAN) CALENDAR
February 2, 10am-12pm
A workshop offered by Wildrose Native Traditions and hosted by the Kelowna Art Gallery and Kelowna Museums. A presentation of the 13 month calendar, focusing on activities related to each season. Interactive and hands-on. Attendees participate in the storytelling, handle objects, witness demonstrations and sample food.
