RRU’s  internship  [http://www.royalroads.ca/about/work-placement-types]program is an educational experience that allows students to integrate classroom studies and theory with relevant work experience. The model is based on the principle that an academic program combined with work integrated learning is most effective for preparing graduates to become effective employees and future industry leaders.

MATM Internship

In our  MA in Tourism Management  [http://www.royalroads.ca/prospective-students/master-arts-tourism-management]program, students analyze innovative approaches to sustainable tourism, learn how to develop effective strategies for destination marketing and development, practice corporate leadership skills, understand policy planning, explore the heritage and culture of tourism destinations and more. The MATM internship semester starts in April 2019.

MGM Internship

Interested in hiring an intern with superior skills in negotiation, critical thinking, problem solving, effective rational and ethical decision making, and much more - all through an international business lens? RRU’s academic practicum is a short-term (75-100 hr) educational experience that allows students to integrate classroom studies and theory with relevant project-based work experience. Design Thinking Competition [http://royalroadsdesignthinkingchallenge.ca/]

RRU is reimagining the standard case competition to focus on innovating solutions to real-world challenges, using design thinking.

In a world where leaders must navigate increased complexity, design thinking provides a structured approach for bringing new, yet-unimagined futures into being.

The competition will take place both online beginning Feb 25 - March 1, 2019 and face-to-face, March 19 - 22, 2019 in Victoria, BC.
