[BCMA] Family Day mini-grant opportunity!

* B.C. celebrates Family on February 18, 2019!*

Family Day was introduced in B.C. in 2013 to recognize the great
contributions that families make to our lives, our communities and our
province. Supporting families is essential to building strong, happy and
healthy communities. B.C. Family Day is a day to get together with loved
ones. In celebration of this important day, special events and activities
in communities around the province are being held Family Day Weekend for
families to enjoy.



*The Province of British Columbia, in partnership with the B.C. Museums
Association, is providing grants to support local museums, art galleries,
cultural institutions and First Nations communities in coordinating,
family-based, admission-free community-based Family Day events.* Grants up
to a maximum of $1000 are available to eligible organizations to cover a
portion of the facility costs, equipment rentals, basic refreshments, etc.
of a free community Family Day event.
