[BCMA] Seeking advice on how to mount and display a 25 cent bill.

Here is a suggestion using clear acrylic or glass.

Sandwich the bill thusly:
sheet of glass or acrylic [thickness depends on the overall size needed for rigidity];
the bill with a acid-free paper matt [minimally thicker than the bill and opening with .5mm clearance max all around];
sheet of glass or acrylic [again, thickness depends on the overall size for rigidity];
squeeze the layers together and seal the edge with tape [aluminum duct tape] and burnish.

The overall size and mounting will be determined by your exhibit design. As a precaution against slipping, just place a small dab of wheat starch paste on the corners.
