[BCMA] Chinatown Through a Wide Lens

Hi all;

I just got back from visiting the exhibit of the once-hidden photographs of Vancouver’s first Chinese photographer. His lens captured thousands of faces of all skin colours, religious beliefs and backgrounds and chronicled a tumultuous time in our city’s early history.

While there were many photographers in Vancouver during that period, people and families of non-white or eastern European backgrounds often sought out Yucho Chow’s services. 

It’s only on till May 30. Well worth the price [by donation].
