[BCMA] City Council Records Question

Hello BCMA

Here at Touchstones Nelson: Museum of Art and History we were wondering what agreements other museums have with their local City Council for holding and archiving City Council / Municipality records? For example do you have agreements that records such as building permits or plumbing permits will be transferred to museum archives after a certain period?
