together to the Opening Reception at Two Rivers Gallery which begins at 5pm)

*Pre-Conference Workshop: Digital Strategy *

New technologies often create as many questions as they answer. How often
should we post and where? Where do we put our energy and resources? What is
a digital strategy, and how do we measure our success? In this interactive
session, we’ll work together to explore what being “digital” means to
B.C.’s museums, what kind of tools and resources are most useful for you,
your staff, and your visitors, and how can the BCMA help you to achieve
your digital goals. By the end of this session, we’ll have collected ideas
for improving the BCMA’s digital offerings, while also providing you with
some strategies, ideas, and tools to start evaluating your own
organization’s digital tools.


This session is FREE thanks to the support from the Government of Canada
through the First Spark Initiative.
