Hello.

In Delta we are currently evaluating our museum collection to ensure the artefacts we have meet our collection criteria.

We are wondering, when other agencies deaccession items, does the item go into a cooling off period?  If you do have a cooling off period, how long is it? Do all items go into a cooling off period?

It would be great to hear from organizations that do have a cooling off period and those who do not.
