Exhibition Development Workshop
We are pleased to present our newest series of professional development workshops. Join us for the first, via ZOOM, as one of Canada’s most experienced museum professionals, Tim Willis, takes us into the world of exhibition development.
August 24-28, 11:00am - 1:00pm via ZOOM

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop will focus on the principles of creating successful exhibitions and pay special attention to the challenge of developing exhibitions in small galleries and museums. Topics will include the planning process, design of display cases and signage, interactive exhibits, storytelling and writing for exhibitions. Participants will complete the workshop with a stronger understanding of how to plan and design exhibitions that really work for visitors.

ABOUT TIM WILLIS
Tim Willis is one of Canada’s most experienced museum professionals. He has led the visitor experience departments of two of Canada’s provincial museums and directed the development of more than 100 museum exhibition and gallery projects. Tim now teaches exhibition planning at the University of Victoria and is a principal with Storyline Studio in Seattle.
