The BC Arts Council is pleased to announce that we are running a pilot funding program. In-Province Touring & Circulation Project Assistance is designed to support B.C. arts and culture professionals who wish to pursue touring and circulation opportunities away from their home base but still within the province.

The program is now open for applications with a deadline of Sunday, March 8th.

Applications are welcome from:

  *   arts organizations, including museums;
  *   independent arts professionals; or
  *   collectives, groups, or ensembles.
Examples of the types of artistic engagements that could be supported include:

  *   touring and circulation activities;
  * planning for the touring or circulation of work; or
  *   inter-community arts professionals networking and engagement;
which serve to benefit:

  *   artistic and career development for individual arts professionals;
  *   new audience, market, network and community engagement;
  * expanded artistic opportunities for organizations and communities.
Both inbound (for example hosting or presenting) and outbound (for example travel or touring) activities will be eligible.

Please note, that projects that have already taken place are eligible as long as the project start date is not before April 1, 2019. Projects end dates must be no later than March 31, 2021.
