[BCMA] You Are Invited! 'We Are Hockey' Event on BC Family Day

The Sikh Heritage Museum, National Historic Site and Gur Sikh Temple is
hosting a closing event for its successful run of the exhibit ‘We Are
Hockey,’ on *Monday, February 17th, BC Family Day* holiday.

All are invited and welcome to attend and please feel free to forward to
others.



The afternoon event (from 1pm-4pm) includes:



·         Hockey lessons by Robin Bawa, the NHL’s first South Asian descent
player

·         Live-on-location by Sportsnet 650 (Reach Deep’s Randip Janda and
Dan Riccio)

·         Documentary film screening of ‘Breakaway’ with Director Jenny
Lee-Gilmore

·         Meet and greet with Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi Edition
Commentators

·         Hockey related games and activities

·         Refreshments following the event at the gurdwara across the
street (Khalsa Diwan Society, Abbotsford)
