Hello everyone,

It was just announced by the Province that museums will be included in the
first round of reopenings in mid-May:

We are currently working with the Province to provide our members with
guidelines and standards to consider when planning to reopen. These
guidelines will be reviewed by the Ministry of Health to ensure that BC's
museum sector can safely welcome the public back to their sites.

The guidelines are being written with the input of a working group made up
of members from diverse small, medium, and large organizations and we are
designing them to be broadly applicable to a wide variety of sites and
collections

Once the guidelines have been reviewed by the Province, the BCMA will share
the document with the sector. If you have any questions or ideas, please
do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Ryan Hunt
