Hello everyone,

Happy BC Museums Week to one and all! We have two special events happening
today to celebrate BC Museums Week with our members. First, join us today
from 12-1 pm for a free webinar, *Community Care in Action
<https://members.museumsassn.bc.ca/public/event/details/9cab6760a3baaa9135e40e59a0fe173502d66b74/1>.
*We'll be celebrating the innovative ways museums are supporting their
communities during the COVID-19 closures and will be joined by Point Ellice
House, the Potatoe House Project, and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria -
through this webinar, weather permitting, we'll also be taking a live tour
of Point Ellice House's new community garden.

Tonight, join peers from across the province for a special installment of
Watercooler Wednesday. Watercooler Wednesday - *After Dark* is a free,
online community trivia night. Join as a solo-player or as a team for a fun
night of socializing from 7-8 pm. Visit our website
<http://museumsassn.bc.ca/brain/learning-opportunities/bcma-mentors/watercooler-wednesdays/>
to join in! There may even be a prize for the winner...

We'll also be hosting a free webinar this Friday
<https://members.museumsassn.bc.ca/public/event/details/9801c27ddb74ec846aa7426c77ab32957fa19d38/1>
discussing
the current climate our industry has found itself in and the pathways
forward and we'll be joined by Jon Tupper, Kate Kerr, Lisa Glandt, and
Tracy Calogheros.

We're also sharing BC Museums Week posts on social media every day using
the hashtag #MuseumsTogetherBC. For an overview of this year's themes,
please visit our website <http://museumsassn.bc.ca/bc-museums-week-2020/>.

I'm looking forward to seeing members at trivia tonight and exploring your
amazing BC Museums Week posts on social media!

Take care,

Ryan
