Hello,

I just wished to THANK YOU Ryan and the BCMA for advocating on our behalf.
As a small community museum especially, I truly appreciate every effort made to seek support for our sector.
I have gladly submitted an impact statement.

Kind regards,
Netanja

Subject: [BCMA] We need your help - share an impact statement

Hello everyone,
Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, we've been working with Provincial and Federal partners to advocate for the needs of our sector. We are currently working with [ https://heritagebc.ca/ | Heritage BC ] to collect impact statements to help show the devastating impact the public health crisis is having on culture and heritage organizations.

Our goal is to share at least 10 new impact statement with partners in government by the end of this week. If you could take a moment and share a brief (around 4 sentences) impact statement using the online form below, you'll be helping us show the toll COVID-19 is having on our sector and our communities.

[ https://members.museumsassn.bc.ca/publicFr/form/index/6a9132cb5757cd25850b238e0820213a72b1783d | https://members.museumsassn.bc.ca/publicFr/form/index/6a9132cb5757cd25850b238e0820213a72b1783d ]

We'll be collecting and sharing impact statements regularly, so if you don't have time to share a statement before Friday, I encourage you to do so as soon as you're able to.

Numbers and statistics tell an important part of the story, but impact statements help to humanize the impact of COVID-19 - by sharing your story, you'll help us better demonstrate our sector's need.

All the best,

Ryan
