The Alberta Museums Association (AMA) is excited to announce our 50th Anniversary Conference Series! Throughout 2021, we will be hosting four virtual events to celebrate excellence in the Alberta museum community over the past 50 years and examine the trends and priorities that are shaping the future of our sector.

Guided by the four pillars of Reconciliation, Inclusion, Community, and Innovation, the 50th Anniversary Conference Series will explore the dynamic ways museums represent, engage, and connect with the people and world around them.

Join us as presenters and contributors! Embracing the virtual environment for the Conference Series, we want you to get creative with the time, delivery method, and format that will allow you to best share your work in a digital space.

As we mark our 50th year, the museum sector in Alberta and around the world is facing incredible challenges and rapid, ongoing change at an unprecedented scale. With our Conference Series, we want to showcase the leadership, resilience, and determination of the Alberta museum community as we work together to seize these opportunities to adapt and grow.

We hope you will join us throughout 2021 to celebrate the AMA's 50th Anniversary, the work of the amazing sector we support, and the shared future we are embracing together!
