2020 has been a challenging year for all of us: individually, within our
households and communities, and within the arts, culture, heritage, and
museum organizations where we work and that we support. Both Roundup issue
280 and our virtual conference in October are looking for contributors and
presenters to share their unique and collaborative approaches to keep their
communities engaged during the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to hear about
your financial wins, technological pivots, innovative programs, physical
changes to your spaces, and the policies and procedures that you’ve
developed to keep your staff and visitors safe!
If you are interested in writing an article or doing an interview for
Roundup, please email us at roundup at museumsassn.bc.ca.
We are also still looking for folks from across the Province to share
short, relatable stories of pivoting and out of the box thinking in the
face of the pandemic during a Lightning Talk session on October 7. If you
want to present a Lightning Talk at our virtual conference or know someone
who would,
please fill out this form
<https://members.museumsassn.bc.ca/publicFr/form/index/a38a164a6b6283dab1797c0199a2aa6f09d7478b>.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions, we would love
to hear from you at bcma at museumsassn.bc.ca.
All the best
