Call for Proposals for The WALL

 

Vancouver Heritage Foundation is accepting proposals from independent
curators and artists for the next WALL project to be installed this summer.

The WALL is a large format artists' platform made possible through a unique
partnership between Vancouver Heritage Foundation and CBC/Radio-Canada. It
is produced in partnership with the City of Vancouver Public Art Program and
additional support is provided by JJ Bean Coffee Roasters. The WALL is a
60'x 40' concrete wall with an aluminum frame that is the site of a changing
program of artworks. It is located at the CBC building on Hamilton Street
between Georgia and Robson Streets. The selected artist or curator will have
the opportunity to explore the CBC Archives collection to research and
inform their artwork intended for exhibition on The WALL.

The deadline to apply is March 15, 2021 at 5pm.
