[BCMA] Youth Podcasting Project opportunity at the Residential School History and Dialogue Centre at UBC

The Residential School History and Dialogue Centre at UBC is recruiting Indigenous youth to participate in a Youth Podcasting Project opportunity. This may be of interest to youth in your networks – please feel free to share.

The project is looking for self-identifying Indigenous youth (ages 18-30), to work collaboratively to research, write and develop a six-episode pilot podcast series. Team members will receive training and mentorship, in partnership with Cited Media Productions and Centre staff. They will also have support from an Indigenous Elder and cultural support worker, so all levels of experience, education and interest are welcome to apply.


  *   Length: April – Dec 2021
  *   Time commitment: 20 hours per month (approx. 5 hours per week)
  *   Honorarium: $22 per hour
  *   Commitment to attend virtual planning meetings
