<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;mso-fareast-language:EN-CA">A contribution of $2.2 million from the Federal Government to help create the new Museum at The Shipyards was announced by North Vancouver MP Andrew Saxton. This generous gift ensures
that 100% of the building’s capital costs are now covered by government funding (government of Canada and the City of North Vancouver). “This significant federal funding will help ensure that the Pipe Shop at the Shipyards, an historic piece of North Vancouver’s
history, will be preserved for the enjoyment of all who visit the new Museum.” Andrew Saxton.
