<DIV>My institution is currently in the process of reviewing our deaccessioning policy and I was wondering if anyone on the listserv had additional information about statues and regulations governing deaccessioning outside of the <EM>Heritage Conservation Act</EM> and the <EM>Cultural Heritage Import and Export Act. </EM></DIV>

<DIV>I was also wondering if anyone had resources that they would recommend related to creating a deaccessioning policy in addition to the <A href="http://museumsassn.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/BP-2-Collections-Management.pdf">Collections Management</A> component of the Best Practices Module on BCMA`s website, especially resources that outline legal considerations for public institutions in British Columbia.</DIV>
