<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt;line-height:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">• Visitor needs and characteristics<br>
• Managing the exhibition process: the creative brief, the critical path of the project, team roles and responsibilities<br>
• Interpretive planning: writing for exhibitions, storytelling, effective communication<br>
• Design tools: communicating the concept, controlling traffic flow, the importance of sightlines, rhythm, color, texture, and lighting<br>
This intensive course examines the entire exhibition planning sequence. It will address the foundation of planning, the planning process itself, designing, fabricating, and installing interpretive exhibitions that encourage museum visitors’ understanding, participation,
and emotional engagement. Fieldwork, team development and presentation of an exhibition design proposal provide you with opportunities to build exhibition planning and design skills. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
