and Beacon Hill Park to stop, hear and learn about the sounds of nature. Composers and sound artists Tina Pearson and Paul Walde will lead the afternoon of sound exploration and guide participants towards an intimate auditory appreciation of our environment.<o:p></o:p></span></strong></p>

electricity, broadcasting, people buzzing, talking, building and moving,” said Pearson. “We’re re-imagining ancient times, when the human capacity for listening was highly developed and the biosphere was teeming with the rich sounds of millions of creatures.”<o:p></o:p></span></strong></p>

will discuss how through careful cataloguing, research and transcription, they have been working with local musicians to mimic the sounds of flora and fauna. The results of this process will be performed in January 2016 with local musicians.<o:p></o:p></span></strong></p>
